Introduction
This procedure describes the submission of the ticket to Tier1 Sites for users with "ALARM" role.
Prerequisites
User has registered in the helpdesk and has an account with the role “ ALARM”.
Procedure Description
The user with role “ALARM” opens a ticket in advanced interface with title "New ALARM Ticket":
The required fields are marked "*", other fields are optional. If the user has already a VO role, the field "Affected VO" will be preselected. The user can specify "Notification mode" and add a list of "Notified groups", these groups will be notified about this ticket in addition.
The ticket is submitted to one of Tier-1 Sites and notification is sent to the pre-defined list of mailing lists related to the Site.
Procedure Instructions
- Press "+" and choose "ALARM Ticket"
- Prepare the ticket by filling only TITLE, TEXT.
- Select Site other than CERN-PROD
- Define the notification mode "on solution" meaning when ticket is solved, "on every update" meaning notification on every ticket update.
- Submit ticket by pressing "Create"
Expected Result
- The notification mail with subject containing "ALARM Ticket" is submitted to the submitter.
- The notification mail with subject containing "ALARM Ticket" is submitted to the NGI contact mailing list.
- The notification mail with subject containing "ALARM Ticket" is submitted to Site contact mailing list.
- The notification mail with subject containing "ALARM Ticket" is submitted to the Site Alarm mailing lists ( diffferent for different Tier-1 sites, and should be checked and added if missing in the new system).
